History
Larry started raising whitetails in 1987, concentrating on large body size genetics first. Once he established excellent
body size, he brought in breeding stock with good antler mass, wide spread and large body size. This resulted in an
excellent line of typical whitetails. In 1999 Dakota, a large body buck with excellent antler mass and tine length,
was purchased for a breeder buck (bred 1999 & 2000). Also in 1999, Migel was brought in as a fawn for a possible
breeder after Dakota. Migel proved to be an exceptional buck with excellent mass, tine length, spread and non-typical
frame. Migel was used for the 2001 breeder buck. Scott joined Larry in 2001. In 2001 we had an excellent batch
of fawns with a good number of buck fawns. We also erected a new pen 3/4 of a mile away from our breeding facility for
the bachelor bucks. This is exciting for us because in the past the fawn bucks were sold every year. Now we will
be raising our bucks, which will allow us to accurately track the herd genetics. We now have (2) buck pens, (3) breeding
pens and a hunting preserve.
